Wai-o-Tapu
Experience geothermal activity at its best. This is New Zealands most colourful volcanic area. Visit the geothermal area, experience the Lady Knox geijser that goes of everyday at 10.15 or see the mudpool.
Polynesian Spa
On the tranquil shores of Lake Rotorua, Polynesian Spa is based at the historic site of the first ever Rotorua bath building established in the 1800s; the site also overlooks the Sulphur Bay Wildlife Reserve.

Mountainbiking
If you like mountainbiking, you have come to the right place! There are more than 100km of biking trails. One of only six places to be awarded a prestigious Gold Level Ride Centre by the International Mountain Biking Association.
The Redwoods
Just about 2km from the hostel you'll find the Redwoods. If you like walking, this is a must. They have different tracks with different lengths and difficulty so you are sure to find something that fits you.
White Water Rafting
The surroundings of Rotorua offers plenty of opportunity to go white water rafting. Why not raft down what might be the worlds highest commercially rafted waterfall at 7 metres?
